What HD camcorder - im on a budget...?

If you're on a tight budget buy a digital camera with good movie quality. Nearly ALL new cameras come 720p recording. I have a Panasonic Lumix ZS7R which i bought at costco for $300 and it has stunning (really stunning) video quality and the battery lasts for a very long time. Avoid the canons because they are too finicky, have too many problems, and have terrible battery life. I owned one and returned it immediately. Sony is great, but expensive. JVC is also a decent brand!
